Swelling
Swelling peaks on the 2nd to 3rd day after surgery, and bandages can be removed after 3 days.
General swelling subsides naturally within 1 month, while residual swelling improves over 6 months.
Symptoms and
Care
Capsular Contracture Prevention Medication: Skin issues (itching, rashes, hives) may occur.
If symptoms appear, stop
taking the medication.
It is preventative, so skipping it will not cause capsular contracture.
You may feel reduced sensation around the breasts and nipples after surgery. Sensation typically returns gradually over 6 months.
Sharp, tingling pain around the breasts and nipples may occur but improves over time. This is
a common symptom as
sensation returns.
Apply moisturizer to prevent irritation before wearing a bra.
The skin may feel dry and tight as it stretches after surgery. Apply moisturizer frequently
Radiofrequency treatment begins 2 weeks post-surgery to aid recovery.
By 3 months post-surgery, the breast shape becomes natural, and the texture softens.
Face Washing / Shower
If Dermabond is used on the incision site, showers are allowed after 2 weeks. Avoid scrubbing or forcibly removing the bond.
If stitches are present, light showers are allowed the day after stitch removal
fter showering, apply moisturizer (e.g., body lotion or oil) frequently. This prevents dryness, reduces tightness, and helps with skin elasticity.
Stitches / Scars
After Dermabond naturally falls off, manage the scar with scar ointments or patches (recommended for 6 months to 1 year).
If stitches are present, apply scar ointments or patches 2 weeks after stitch removal (recommended for 6 months to 1 year).
For early scar care, silicone-based ointments are recommended for their moisturizing benefits and prevention of keloid scars.
Dissolvable sutures are used inside the incision. The scar may feel firm initially but
dissolves over 6 months.
If
stitches are exposed or cause pain, consult the hospital.
Scar laser treatments are available after 6 months
If needed, scar management can include steroid injections after consultation with the doctor.
Wearing Underwear
When wearing compression garments, ensure the bottom line properly supports the breasts.
The use of a top band may vary depending on your recovery progress.
Wear a sports bra for the first 1-3 months. After 3 months, regular bras can be worn.
For regular bras, choose ones that fully cover the implants and ensure the cups do not press on the implants.
During exercise, wear a sports bra that minimizes breast movement for support.
Smoking / Alcohol /
Sauna / Exercise
Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 1 month after surgery, as these can slow recovery and cause inflammation.
Saunas, spas, swimming pools, and strenuous exercise are allowed 2 months post-surgery
After revision surgery, exercise is recommended after 3 months

Brushing teeth is allowed once you can move your mouth comfortably.
Use children’s toothpaste and a soft toothbrush, focusing on the teeth and avoiding contact with the incision area.
Until the stitches are removed, clean the face gently with a wet towel, avoiding the surgical area.
Stitch Care
The stitches inside the mouth are dissolvable and typically disappear on their own after one month.
Care
Use cold compresses for the first 3 days after surgery, and switch to warm compresses afterward to reduce swelling.
Starting 7 days post-surgery, practice lip movements (A/E/I/O/U sounds) and smiling exercises (ensuring symmetry of the lip corners).
From the 2nd week post-surgery, gently practice opening your mouth (3rd week if you are undergoing orthodontic treatment).

eyes improves naturally
within one month,
while residual swelling gradually decreases over 6 months.
Symptoms and Management
Use cold compresses for the first 3 days after surgery.
Eye irritation may cause conjunctival swelling, dryness, and itching. Use artificial tears frequently.
Discontinue the prescribed eye drops one week post-surgery.
For ptosis correction, practice opening your eyes by looking downward without using your
eyebrows,
and focus on using
the eye muscles alone.
For lateral and lower canthoplasty, conjunctival swelling may occur.
Use artificial tears to
prevent dryness and apply a
generous amount of
eye ointment at night for better recovery.
For brow lift procedures, eyebrow tattooing is allowed 6 months post-surgery.
For lower eyelid fat repositioning, the area may initially feel bulky and firm, but swelling
typically subsides within 1
month,
becoming softer and more natural. Avoid any strong stimulation around the lower eyelids.
Stitches / Scars
Even after stitch removal, the incision area is weak, so avoid rubbing, touching, or irritating your eyes for at least 1 month.
Do not use scar ointments on the eyes. After stitch removal, ensure no foreign substances enter
the incision area.
Apply eye ointment -morning and night for 2–3 more days after washing your face.
Post-surgical scars may darken and feel itchy for 1–3 months, and they may appear more
prominent.
Always use sunscreen
when outdoors.
Based on progress, scar injections may be administered after consultation with the doctor.
Makeup and
Washing
For 3–7 days post-surgery, avoid direct water contact on the surgical site.

while residual
swelling gradually subsides over 6
months.
After surgery, the nasal mucosa inside the nose will be swollen, which can make breathing
uncomfortable and cause
dryness initially.
Avoid irritating the mucosa as it may result in injury.
Symptoms and Management
Use cold compresses for the first 3 days post-surgery (focus on the area around the nose and forehead).
Avoid actions that put excessive pressure on the nose (e.g., blowing your nose forcefully,
lying face down) or
activities that could cause direct trauma to the nose. These can lead to bleeding, so extra
caution is needed for one
month.
Avoid wearing glasses or sunglasses for one month. If necessary, ensure they do not press on the nasal bridge.
If blood or discharge flows from the nose,
let it flow naturally and gently wipe it with a
tissue or gauze without
touching the incision.
If bleeding persists, visit the hospital.
Stitches / Splint /
Scar Care
For internal incisions, dissolvable stitches are used, which typically disappear within 1 to
1.5 months.
If the stitches
cause discomfort, they can be removed upon request.
After stitch removal, apply the prescribed ointment for 1 more week to the external incision
site and any
areas with
non-dissolvable stitches inside the nose.
After 2 weeks, use scar ointment for external incision sites, ear cartilage donor sites, or rib
cartilage donor sites.
If Dermabond is used,
start scar management only after the bond naturally falls off.
Depending on your progress, the splint may need to be worn during rest or sleep as instructed by the doctor.
Makeup and
Washing
Lightly clean your face with a wet towel while avoiding areas with tape (avoid water contact with the splint, as it may come off).
After stitch removal, you can perform light foam cleansing and apply skin makeup starting the next day.
Using nose strips or scrub products is allowed after 1 month.

Swelling
Bruising may last 1–3 weeks, depending on the area, and approximately 70–80% of swelling subsides within 3–4 weeks.
Satisfaction with results typically begins around 1 month post-surgery,
while the remaining
swelling gradually improves
over 1–3 months with treatment.
Symptoms and Management
After surgery, the treated area may feel firm and lumpy.
Gently massage the area while
wearing the compression garment
to help recovery.
Wear the compression garment consistently for 2 months.
If it becomes loose after 1 month,
it is recommended to have it
adjusted or tailored
for continued effectiveness.
Remove the compression garment for at least 4–12 hours per day to aid blood circulation and reduce swelling.
After 2 weeks post-surgery, combining a balanced diet with light exercise can help with weight control and recovery.
Incision areas with stitches will be covered with medical-grade bandages.
Leave them in
place for 1 week, and afterward,
manage with scar ointment.
Sensation around the treated area may feel reduced but generally returns gradually over 6
months to 1 year.
A tingling
sensation may occur during recovery,
which is normal.

Swelling
Bruising and swelling may increase during the first 2–3 days, depending on the individual.
It takes approximately 1 month for swelling to subside and for the fat to settle. The overall shape will appear more natural thereafter.
Symptoms and Management
During the fat grafting stabilization period, avoid external pressure or impact on the treated area to prevent disruption.
After 1 month, a follow-up check with the doctor will be conducted.
If needed, a second fat
grafting procedure can be
performed for areas requiring additional volume.
Stitches
After stitch removal, the incision site will be covered with a medical-grade bandage.
Leave
it on for 1 week, then
manage with scar ointment.

Significant swelling generally lasts for 1–2 weeks, while residual swelling gradually subsides over 1–6 months.
It is normal for swelling to occur asymmetrically, with one side appearing more swollen or recovering faster than the other.
Symptoms and Management
Tingling pain may occur but will improve over time.
For forehead lifting, temporary pain and a sensation of tightness around the fixation area are common and will gradually improve.
Mild bleeding from the incision site may occur for 3–5 days. Use a towel over your pillow while sleeping.
Use cold compresses for the first 3 days post-surgery, especially around the eyes, as swelling may be more noticeable there.
